Katy Perry has been offered a spot on X Factor following the axing of Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.The 27-year-old, currently divorcing comedian Russell Brand, was handpicked by show boss Simon Cowell. She had apparently impressed the music mogul as a guest judge on the UK show two years ago.“I worked with Katy once.
