Beyonce to receive journalism award
Beyonce Knowles is being rewarded for her article Eat, Play, Love, which appeared in Essence magazine, by the New York Association of Black Journalists on May 15.The 30-year-old’s cover story for the magazine, which chronicled her nine-month hiatus from the showbiz in 2010, was later turned into a movie starring Julia Roberts.
