E-commerce: 1 trillion euros in B2C sales for 2013
Next year online B2C sales should surpass the symbolic mark of 1 trillion euros (in short scale), according to IMRG (Interactive Media in Retail Group), a British association specialized in online retailing. The group moved up its projections by one year after initially predicting the event to happen in 2014 — a new sign of the sector's strong growth. This “trillion” in sales was announced as part of IMRG's e-Commerce Overview 2012. The group said sales grew 20% worldwide last year,
